Victor II For Sale
This Victor II talking machine (Type: Vic II 12811), has been meticulously restored by Phonophan (www.phonophan.com), from where it was purchased in 2009. Original back bracket has original gold filigree. Rebuilt sound box for extraordinary clarity and volume. This Victor II features the improved spiral drive motor with dual springs and slotted crank.
The quaint fully restored “Humpback II” oak cabinet features “His Master’s Voice” logo plate, and the same trademark is shown on the original brass horn, with original black paint and decal. Many Victor original brass horns show flaking of the original paint, but this one is museum quality.
The oak cabinet was restored using the same original materials used at the Victor factory in Camden, New Jersey, aniline dye stain and shellac. The only other non-original piece is the reproduction crank.
This museum quality instrument is offered at $1,400.00. jr1parsons@gmail.com
For more pictures, email me directly with requests. I prefer to deliver this instrument within the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. However, buyer will specify packing and shipping details, and will cover the cost of freight, if needed. The horn was damaged in the last shipping (see picture) and I want to avoid further damage to this classic instrument.
